Dr. Mark Paramlall is the Associate Head of the Section of Acute, Consultation, and Emergency Psychiatry at Nova Scotia Health, where he oversees the Psychiatric Emergency Service (PES), Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, and Neuropsychiatry. He also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Dalhousie University. Dr. Paramlall’s work integrates leadership, clinical care, and academic teaching, with a focus on advancing acute psychiatric services and supporting interdisciplinary collaboration in mental health.
